Lacking confidence in their brand

While Kaizen’s early brand identity attracted the first clients, getting buy in from their team and engaging a wider client base required something more.

“Our employees weren’t proud of our brand,” Kaizen’s Chief Technology Officer, Marcus Riquier, explains. “They were hesitant to show the brand off, which meant they lacked the confidence to promote our product.”

Recognising that the original branding was indirectly costing new business, Marcus looked to a branding agency for a solution. Having seen Brandnation’s prior work, Marcus believed that we could provide a quality product that would reflect the nuance of a B2B business such as Kaizen.

“Brandnation asked relevant questions,” Marcus says. “So they were able to get a deeper understanding of who we are, what we are trying to achieve, and how we want our services thought out.”

Following the deep dive discovery with Marcus, Brandnation pitched a variety of suitable designs. With multiple stakeholders, this step was crucial. We accounted for each stakeholder’s preference and opinion, aligned them with Kaizen’s overall rebranding goals, and offered new designs and mock-ups.

Confidence and growth

We were very pleased to meet and exceed Kaizen’s objectives for their new brand, with each team member now proud to use it to represent Kaizen, and feel more like part of a centralised team.

Marcus says, “The new branding received all-around positive feedback from everyone in the company, as well as customers. The team is more confident, and our branding now supports our growth.”
